Jesse McCoy: Bible Translation In South Africa

 Jesse McCoy was saved when he was 8 and was called to preach missions when he was 12. He has been preaching, teaching, and serving in his local church faithfully ever since. After his graduation from high school Jesse continued his education at the Immanuel Baptist Church Bible Institute and upon the completion of his studies he felt the call of god on his life to pursue the ministry of bible translation. He surrendered to that call and enrolled in the Baptist Bible Translators Institute in Bowie Texas.

​ When Jesse returned from finishing his studies in bible translation he continued serving in his local church as a teacher in the christian school. God used this as an opportunity to give Jessie experience as a teacher and prepare him for what God had next for him. In November of 2015  God presented him an opportunity to help a fellow missionary train native Zulus to  accurately translate the word of God into their native tongue. Through a time of prayer and fasting God settled in Jesse’s heart his call to go to South Africa and help with this work.
