Objective: To teach children ages 7-12 how to be active Christian servants and involved in their local church. If we can train them according to the Scriptures to be a part of the Body of Christ and to see their responsibility within the local church at a young age they will grow to become Christian leaders.

Design: Built around the concept of a soldier, its theme verses are II Timothy 2:3-4
"Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier." The purpose is not just another program or activity to draw in children but a training ground. It is vital that the church and children themselves understand the difference. Special Forces are more than just soldiers; they are leaders.
(" .for many are called but few are chosen." Matthew 20:16 )

Application & Participation: To " enlist" into Special Forces two requirements must be met:

1) All children participating must have a clear-cut testimony of salvation.
2) They must give their testimony to a group of their peers.

Children participating in Special Forces are

1) Faithful in attending services
2) Understand they are in "full-time" Christian service - 24/7 soldiers!
3) Diligent in training - discipleship lessons, etc.
4) Involved in Service opportunities within the local church

"Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine". I Timothy 4:12-13
